indieworship.org holds that Scriptural, authentic, holistic, contextual worship is central to the accomplishment of Christ’s missional, proclamational purpose (Matthew 24:14; Matthew 28:18-20). We are constantly searching for quality indie worship artists from all over the inhabited world who write and record Scripturally informed worship songs and share our heartbeat:
- Dedicated to the inerrancy and authority of Scripture
- Creating culturally appropriate, corporately singable songs
- Equipping the church with songs and chord charts for worship
- Circumventing consumerism, commercialism, and copyright
- Redistributing all financial donations for kingdom purposes
Joining the Indie Worship community as an artist/contributor will provide you with the ability to create a unique artist profile page, which will be located in the appropriate category (Continent/Country/State-or-Province/Your Name) and will be indexed by all major search engines, giving your songs global exposure. You will be given permissions to post worship songs under the category associated with your name or group name. Specific instructions will be given (via email) for posting songs and uploading leadsheets (chord charts).
In addition, each posted song will be included in the “Passion for Christ Ministries” podcast which is available to listeners around the world via the iTunes Feed and Feedburner Feed. Finally, you will have access to the Worship Forum where you can share your story and interact with others from the Indie Worship Network (crafting songs, discussing theology, brainstorming ideas, etc.).

All indie worship songs and leadsheets/chord charts will remain your personal property; however, once posted, the mp3 files (streamed) and pdf chord charts will become available to the church around the world gratis (free). Downloadable mp3 versions of each song will be made available for a $1.00 donation. 100% of proceeds are redistributed towards our partnering ministries for kingdom purposes.
